I played Diablo3 while in Beta and it just wasn't that fun for me. It felt like they gave the project to one guy for its entire development and never really checked up on it. They were making MAJOR changes in the last few days of Beta. Torchlight 2 was everything I was hoping for at a good price.

Diablo 3 sucks because it was designed to make you buy equipment in the real money auction house not because it was designed to be a good game.

Torchlight 2 is out. It's great. Finally I can play something fit for my skill level (elite) while taking my time and seeing the story.

Diablo 3 was all about one shotting everything and seeing the story, then not feeling like doing that 2 more times before a proper challenge.

I will say this for diablo 3, the game doesn't end when you reach nightmare anymore, and that's nice.

My husband and I actually still have a lot of fun with Diablo3. People rarely ever appreciate a game when it's brand new, I've found. Takes years for a game to catch on.

I honestly couldn't get into Diablo 3, I only made it up to act 2 before I couldn't stand it anymore and I only made it to that stage because I was playing with my girlfriend.
