I've never played Dead By Daylight, but I want this for it: https://www.reddit.com/r/deadbydaylight/comments/1kvz7qj/what_do_you_think_about_the_ginosaji_as_a_killer/

1000 hours in the game as killer main, been hopping in and out of the game since 2017. I must say, the scale from updates tips alot and quickly from the simplest of changes but Survivors are very much tipped in their favor in the majority.
Never played the game but what if they just made a mode for last survivor where the winner is the last one alive. Survivors slowly get nerfed over time (get tired, lantern flicker, etc. killer goal is to take everybody minus 1 and the player goal is to be the last one alive. This way both can win.

Everybody wants asymetrical gameplay until they realize balance is imposible and crying for nerf now begin
I've seen a video that called it the worst balanced game ever, and the main problem seems to be that the devs don't play the game and listen to the loudest voices, and since there are always more players than killers, their gripes get preference and end up skewing the balance in their favor.
Yeah...I want to like DBD, but it is so unbalanced in favor of the survivors that it completely defeats the point of being a horror slasher game. It wouldn't be so bad if they had a randoms-only queue, but they'll never do that because then killers would never play against SWFs again.

Hidden source was brilliant source mod. I actually never learned how people see Hidden less to kill it. But it was fun with friends, those fairy tail creatures that I had once upon time

Did anyone ever play https://www.hidden-source.com/? I enjoyed that a lot back in the day. There's just something about the horror player being *invisible* that makes it so much more tense.
That is one of the fundamental problems all Horror games encounter: With enough exposure, fear becomes frustration.
Getting scared once or twice hits hard. Losing a few rounds is a frightening experience. But at some point, you just want to win, and move on. And so they become a waste of time.
Alien Isolation always felt more natural when it comes to Horror.

I always had tons of fun playing the killer just randomly chasing people around the map. I almost never won, but we all had fun with them getting away.
