@T.chicken; An understandable thought, but the Fireflies never had the resources to mass-produce a cure or even run tests before the fatal surgery, there's no guarantee it would work. She dies, so does their sample and this potential future of Humanity gets unceremoneously snuffed out.

Sounds crazy but I don't hate watch because it just tells them there is some kind of audience. Which means they can still market those terrible shows to sponsors.

Honestly, "hate watching" wasn't really a thing until YouTube grifter culture realized they could monetize getting people worked up into a frothing rabid mess by railing about stuff they despise.

I don't actually watch the shows I hate. That's why they have terrible viewership numbers.

When you pander to a tiny minority of extremely vocal individuals on social media, you should not be surprised if the wider audience does not enjoy your content. If the numbers are bad, companies will cancel productions regardless.

They say there's no such thing as bad publicity. But if all I hear are negative things...why would I bother engaging with it?

Yeah, only reason why I even know most of these garbage pieces of "cinema" exist because of people like Critical Drinker, and that's all I care to stomach from those shows.

I appreciate the sacrifice of those who make reviews of such drivel, but in general don't understand hate-watching beyond giving onesself ammunition to counter apologists. It only emboldens corperations to continue pumping out vile sludge like these and why I won't see, say, Lilo & Stitch's remake.

Huh? I thought that was the general response to things you dont like; just generally avoiding them.

This is why I ignore most MCU stuff ever since it went downhill with Avengers Endgame.
