Yeah, you should be careful, the right wing might get offended and upset that you're talking about them. But somehow not notice that you weren't.

@snadzies I can't be entirely sure, but 2P is a character from the NieR Automata raids in Final Fantasy XIV. She has black hair and a white dress, swapped from 2B's white hair and black dress.

Plot twist: That card is for one free clown blowjob!

"They were getting stale" actually is dependent on the other clause for clarity. So in this case, while I'd prefer a semicolon, I feel a comma is acceptable.
Also, your English is ten million times better than my Portuguese, so I wouldn't complain anyway :)

I'll agree with the grammar bit from Kuraido (the semicolon's what I'd've done, but that's because I like using 'em); I don't think you've really got a problem with the grammar as a whole, in general -- I've seen native speakers fumble worse than any problem I've seen in the strips so far.

@Beastwolf As one who's lost a full letter grade for a single grammar mistake, I implore you to change that attitude if you decide to attend university.

Independent clauses aren't always separated by a period; clauses can also be separated by a semicolon to indicate related thoughts. You generally shouldn't separate independent clauses with a comma, but if you use a coordinating conjunction it's still grammatically correct. Strip made me laugh tho!

I don't see how you could have ever gotten a humour license in the first place.

I'm kind of liking the idea of seeing the entire crew in 2P mode. Jane with green hair seems interesting. So is 2P the current bar theme, or is it a separate set of girls? Intense Angie vs Angie action.

I think people gripe about grammar because that's what they do to other native speakers. They dunk on any mistake, excluding texting of course. And your English is good enough that I forget it's not your first language sometimes.

Once you're below a minimum level in grammar any statement can become confusing on it's own but anyone who's learned much higher will see common mistakes and wonder why they bothered to learn higher. They share their burden of worthless knowledge with you.

For me they are just annoying, I'm here to be entertained not for a lecture and most mistake they try to point out is so trivial.

Now for the big question:
Is 2p Angie just Angie with hair dye, or is she actually a separate Angie?

"my colleagues would put an obviously ugly graphic element so the client would have something they want to remove instead of trying to fix an otherwise good piece" That's a big brain move right there!

Yeah, German punctuation rules seem to be way more sensible plus they actually exist! It's not five different competing "style guides" produced by five different organizations.

I'm also not a native speaker, so every time I write in English, I try to apply German comma logic. And every time Grammarly corrects me, I'm like "seriously? that looks so wrong!"

@snadzies She's player two, so she gets a pallete swap.

Not sure what is being referenced with Angie's color pallet and 2P. Would someone be kind enough to enlighten me?

Why not just study up on your English? You aren't that bad for a foreigner, I feel like you could reach native levels pretty quickly. Mostly read about tenses, they seem to be your Achilles heel.

It needs a semi-colon.

You could have your comics go up earlier on patreon or something and let them point your mistakes. Maybe even stream the comic finish touches so people can suggest grammar edits while you are adding effects or something.

Narrator: Unfortunately for the Nazi, the house the conversation was being held in belonged to one William Joseph Blazkowicz.

I'll die on the comma splice hill, you can't stop me from using it and I dare you to try!
