I don't mind DoTA comics as long as I can get them. They seem to be quite obscure, though. TS2 I haven't played in ages, but at least I get the jokes. From what I'm currently playing, Natural Selection 2 or AirBuccaneers comics would fit me best.

In a nutshell, every single time you've done a DOTA comic, it has fallen completely on it's face for me.
If anything, go to games you know everyone can get at and play if you don't want to do TF2. Xcom, Mass Effect, AC, Mario etc. There has to be something you can enjoy writing about out there.

The thing is, for alot of people, TF2 is more enjoyable because it's a shooter knows to some degree. We know the roles and what they can do, as well as how the game plays.

But yeah, the problem with the Dota comics is that they are wayyy too specific, while the tf2 can be understood by all.
Dota is already a VERY elitist community, in case you haven't noticed, the fact that the second game is still in beta after a YEAR proves it, so I'm not surprised of the hate.

Mate if you want to keep us all happy, move on, I get it you like Dota 2 you like TF2, how bout some Halo 4 comics or some Black Ops 2 comics, they are easy targets for good puns that a lot of people can relate to, whether it be targeted at bad gameplay, awesome gameplay, trash community or fanlore.

But yeah, the biggest problem with your dota comics is that it assumes too much knowledge on the reader's part. I don't play dota, so I won't get the jokes.

I want comics I can understand, and all the DOTA comics so far have required intimate knowledge of who all the DOTA characters are, so they're just nonsense to me. Maybe stop assuming everyone knows exactly who all the characters are and it'll work out better?

I'm actually among the few who prefer your not-quite-game-related stuff.
If I want pure TF2, I go on steam and load up the game, if I want DOTA (which I NEVER do, but hey, other people might) I'd play that game.
