With so many shooters being released every year, I give myself the luxury of being very, very picky.

The one thing which is a big "No" for me is that scoping you need to do in most modern shooters lest your bullets stop going straight. I always feel like I'm playing on a shooting gallery and the enemy are cardboard ducks going up and down from their covers.

If I see ironsights or scopes on the gameplay video, I instantly know it's a game I will skip. Perhaps it's an overeaction, but there are just too many good games out there for me to bother with ones which have a mechanic I dislike.
