DLC is a problem when it's first day DLC or stuff that's already on the disc, or just developers being greedy. And bugs that are inexcusable are inexcusable.

Also, nice hair.

What if I absolutely hate avocado and the burger that I had rightful ownership of was changed without my consent? The problem here is that I didn't sign an EULA for the burger, but I did for WoW and TF2. Politics is stupid.

Reminds me of the penny arcade comic.

http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2008/2/25/

The World of Warcraft forums are notorious for this. People get intensely irate about the littlest things, and they complain extensively. Sometimes they threaten to quit playing.. but they usually don't.

Never mind the short line of pickles, his burger is freaking purple.

I think the point Jo is missing is, a burger joint has never gone up to your burger and swapped out your bacon for avocado as you're eating it.

When I worked in fast food I had a woman throw a glass mug at the drive through window because she said she didn't get enough cheese.

@Discrider: No, it's about how people overreact at the most insignificant things, state that they are never going to play the game, but still do.

@Discrider: except you can take a burger back and get it remade to order if you aren't too chummy to start eating it. But the analogy is spot on if you think of it this way: if you know what you want, you can easily tell if you got what you wanted if you just check first.

Customers are ungrateful and entitled bastards... being a CSR thought me that.

After a quick look-around on TV Tropes, I've started to dislike a large slice of the gaming community

Have had customers try to get refunds after eating or drinking 75% to 95% of the product.

I'm not entirely sure what the comic is getting at, but if it's about complaining about things we get for free, then I agree that this is silly. However, if he found his burger laden with hot sauce, which like unbalanced weapons ruin the flavour of the whole burger, then I'd complain to.

TF2 isn't too bad in that regard, but the drop system pushes you in the shop's direction since getting everything is so long. Sure, you don't need everything, but versability is a huge weapon in terms of balance.
Want Milkman Scout with more survivability? Pay up or wait for 3 months(collect shit)

Fries to a burger are different as a new weapon to a game. The fries don't ruin the experience of eating the burger. A $ exclusive gun that is stronger than the others will ruin the experience of those who don't pay the full price.

I think this is a somewhat stupid comparison towards microtransactions. Yet I see it often used by pro-microtransaction persons.

As somebody who works at a gamer-oriented tavern, this is a perfectly accurate representation of some of our clientele.

Keep in mind though, that's a $60 burger, plus fries.

Yep, you can say that modern games = fast food. Good looking, cheap (in terms of quality) and always fullfil your expectations (being crappy). Thus home made food (indie) >> fast food.

p.s. The Pirate Burger Bay, yesss.

I think you could create an ENTIRE WEBCOMIC based around a guy that complains in real life like he does in forums.
