I find it funny that people use the word "Mod" instead of "Cheat".

I basically didn't use tools until the last boss because farming shards held no appeal to me. I absolutely loved the game, my only complaint is that I don't think corpse runs add anything but frustration. When grinding a boss, I just want to fight them repeatedly.

Bilewater was shite, luckily youtube told me about the secret bench before I made my attempt, and the fact you can toss a bomb in vore bugs mouth. Still it was a chore that took a few attempts.
I am hearing now the strat is to embrace the maggot water, because he doesn't have a proper down attack .

I did the exact same thing at Mount Fey yeah, like, it seemed borderline impossible to do stuff there.. so naturally I wasn't gonna come back til I'd found the warmth item

The game is not at all intuitive in the way it's set up on various bits like that. I modded it to be easier to fit me

I'm still going thourgh it slowly and the Last judge was my roadblock for awhile.

During my blind playthrough I got to mt. fey, encountered the cold mechanic, assumed there was a mandatory blanket item or something to prevent it that I would get from another area, and turned around immediately. I missed mt. fey, sands, memoriam, ducts, half of bilewater etc.

Stuff like this reminds me of back when I first played Ninja Gaiden on the OG Xbox. That thing was an early experiment in Souls like games.
