I have 109 hours in it - it's fine - it's a Bethesda game

It's something I'll rack up a few thousand hours in just like Fallout 4 and Skyrim -shrug-

Well, I guess Bethesda won't return to Daggerfall roots then.
(I mean it was buggy and have issues, but at least it's more immersive than post-Morrowind games).

From years playing League of Legends I can tell you, with no irony or lie, that a game does not need to be good to have people playing it endlessly.

(Cont.) Christianity, since he was a devout one himself.
I'm not saying the European churches don't have their problems (they sure do!) but the bad side of Americanized religion is a uniquely bizarre thing to that part of the world...

@Sam As a Christian and a European I feel the old D&D scare back in the 70's and 80's was more due to Americans than Faith. D&D is one of the many IP's born out of Tolkien's groundwork in the fantasy genre, and that man went DEEP on explaining how myths and legends are completely in line with (TBC)

If I were crazy enough to pay $70 for Starfield then you can bet I'll play through it even if I thought it was only mediocre. As someone who loved Morrowind, hated Oblivion, and barely tolerated Skyrim I'm going to hold off for a long time before I buy Starfield.

@Boomfly energy level falling. energy shield recharge, the game.

But seriously. Nms is so much more barren than Starfield. But it's just my opinion.

Only way to judge someone or something is to spend time with them. This means investing the time to know and understand the subject. Other wise your a Christian calling D&D Evil because it has demons, or some one killed them selves after playing it. Or Kyle's Mom out to cancel "Toilet Humor" shows.

We play these games not because we enjoy them, but because we have nothing better to do. We fall into the easily-digestible porridge so that we can simply waste time instead of exercising ourselves or doing something more productive or finding a genuinely fulfilling game to play. It's an ugly thing.

And you're bad at making excuses =P.

I admittedly put a lot of hours into Skyrim, albeit mainly because I wanted to do all the guild quests and such. Then again, most of those hours were with mods, I think. You wouldn't catch me dead playing a Bethesda game without mods, modding is the only way I get any enjoyment out of them anymore.

Meanwhile there's a YouTuber who has been "playtesting" a console that's never actually coming out. He can't shut up about how amazing it is, yet he's logged in maybe an hour per game over the last nine or so months.

No Man's Sky has better base building. Elite has better ship combat. Any FPS is better at being a FPS. Starfield is a RPG with those elements in it. It isn't amazing, but its a lot better than people give it credit for.

No lie, Starfield is so good it made me play No Man's Sky. Which is like, a slightly better Starfield.
