@Albert: Those old CDs haven’t worked in YEARS. I tossed ‘em because I got some kind of error. I forgot exactly what it said but I remember asking about it at the time and was told that I had to download the game since the discs were obsolete technology.

I mean, all I really wanted and cared about with WC3R was new textures, so I got what I wanted, no complaints there, not really. The problem is that they lied about adding tons of other stuff. People whine about not being able to play the original, unaltered WC3...

I can't honestly bring myself to even attempt the alleged workaround to playing the original WCIII. When I heard they effectively removed the ability to play the original, I basically felt spite and only play Hearthstone to continue my protest against Blizzard with my Bnet name change.
