I think they would have been better off not adding breakable tools. Its a hassle that doesn't add anything to the game.

So that's kind of Satisfactory, except Satisfactory doesn't have breakable tools (instead you occasionally run out of fuel especially at the start).

The entire core of AC is that you take it easy, earn some Bells and build up your town day by day. If you aren't a fan of games that take it slow and casual, it's not a series you should bother with. The tool crafting does make it more tedious, but it gets better when you unlock better tools.
