The problem with being a hipster, Morgan... is the same as being a mainstream sheep. Quality doesn't actually matter to you. Being popular, or not, is all that matters.
It just doesn't work.
I'd say most indie games don't know how to _end_ as well. They're either get some weird unsatisfactory ending, no ending at all, or make the worst kind, "we ain't gonna explain shit, figure your own meaning".
