Realm Reborn worked because it was a total restart,essentially a new game. They knew 1.0 had too many faults to be salvaged as is.

I still feel that the most honestly unforgivable thing about Anthem is that no one on the team's leadership appears to have even bothered to play their competition, they managed to fail to include some pretty essential QoL multiplayer features in both Warframe and Destiny 1+2.

I have an uncle that works in games. So I hear things all the time. They work a ton of hours to make up for weeks of lost progress or pushed up deadlines. He's basically worthless during a crunch.
