Assume everyone you are interacting with is an idiot, and will perform to the lowest of capabilities. This will save you headaches and give you hope when they go above the Shitty baseling.
That's one of the things that baffles me the Moba community hasn't figured out yet. Someone using a character you haven't had much practice (or had zero practice against) has an advantage over you. Doesn't guarantee they win, but they'll get some good hits in, though.
IMO Earth Spirit is one of the worse heroes out there. Sure a good player can put him to good use, but so does the other 100+ heroes. ES is cool to play with, but not really threatening.
