I don't think Apple's too cut up about it as they are now getting 30% of the Scammy IAPs from Fallout Shelter. The kind of random boxes that vanish when your save file gets corrupted (is happening) or you delete the local App.
I thought about getting the collector's edition but here in Australia it was $189.95 which is basically $100 for a fancy phone holder then $89.95 for the game itself. That is a lot of money for me to throw down on a game. By the time I decided that I could afford it they were already sold out.
Guess it's off to Ebay or Etsy or something to get a fan made replica that's probably better made for about the same to three times the price of the CE, like before.
that helmet was the best thing ever offered in a CE box, CoD on the other hand
actually gave some pretty sleak and useful robots (cheap and not very durable though)
that being said, pip-boy is gonna be useless as hell for real life
Would it be uncomfortable to wear? Probably. But hell, my boss would see me wearing it and NEVER, EVER fire me. I'm considering getting one JUST for the job security.
