I remember years ago, Uwe Boll tried to get the license to make a Warcraft movie. Blizzard basically told him "Fuck you, get away from our game" in polite terms.

Regarding Warcraft, I hope that the movie goes well and Blizzard resist the urges to pandering the Horde too much. For what I know, the movie tell the tale of the First War, the days of the old and evil Horde after all, and it should reflect it.

Anyone with even a symbolic knowledge of marine fluff can point several terrible flaws (Matt-Ward-Grade flaws) on it. In that regard the Lord Inquisitor looks much more promising.

they already finished filming a lot of the scenes but the graphics and post production is whats gonna take up most of the time.

And like WoW it will need years of patching and updates to bring the movie close enough to early production level.
