Just an update on this.
Microsoft just restructured all its management, positions were changed, removed and added and some people got new jobs, some lost them.
And rumors say that he wanted Microsoft to buy Zinga before and that his job was one of those being removed with the management changes

This isn't a good thing people. The team who advised this team leader that all the DRM was a bad idea is still there, but because the teamleader is fired the lesson which should have been learned for the mistake is lost. A leader who's learnt from his mistakes is valuable.
