Sonic Crossworlds looks like a fine game, but I feel it is being elevated a bit due to Mario Kart backlash, and Mario Kart is suffering a bit due to the recent Nintendo unpopularity. 

Not like Mario Kart does not have issues, but if Mario Kart is a bad game, than every Mario Kart is a bad game. I guess the main argument I can give people is the high price, but outside that everything is very close to a formula that been popular for decades.

Like, people complain about Mario Kart World free roam being aimless and purposeless, but Sonic Crossworld does not have an open world at all and it's fine. 

Anyway, both games are good, which is a nice change of pace given a lot of recent games are a hard pass for me.
