They renamed Finkle Einhorn because the name referenced a character that was considered transphobic. All the shit thats wrong with blizzard and this is the type of nonsense they're focused on. I just cant with this company anymore.

Blizzard is really heartbreaking. It's like having a really good friend in high school that you lose touch with. Then years later, you see him again, and he's a meth addict living under the bridge.

... Because of this, they have to squeeze the workers, cut back on innovation, and try to get every penny out of the customer by leveraging the goodwill and brand recognition they gained early on until they can't do it anymore, at which point the investors pull out and the company collapses...

... To do that, they need money, which comes from investors. Investors want their money back after a while, so they need profits, which can be covered by more successes to a degree. However, a 10% growth over a base investment of 1 million is easier to recoup than a 10% growth on 1 billion...

@Dastardly Mime: It's actually deeper reaching than that. It's what happens to every successful company, period. Success brings expectations. To meet those expectations, the next product has to be better, so they need to expand. More people, better equipment, better workplace, etc...
