To other comments : actually, in rural areas, a goose can be grew into a guarding pet, like a dog would. If you grow a bond with one, you can kill other geese each year, and keep the one you love for years.

Considering her personality I wouldn’t be surprised of her killing, gutting cleaning and roasting a goose, that is normal for people in rural areas. Considering her strength I bet she could kill a large pig and maybe even a cow.

Even if I don't understand the context, the Alek idea wouldn't be too much. Geese are universally assholes so I don't reckon any tears'd be shed over her killing it with her bare, bearlike hands.
