I still think that someone at the dev team saw some joke-article about games that will never get a Battle Royale version. And just thought; but what if there was a Tetris Battle Royale. And surprisingly the game is also very good.
But I believe it is Tetris with 99 players (including yourself).

That reminds me of TetriNET, which was a lot of fun to play over dial-up.

If I ever get a Switch (Cob, I want one) I'm probably never going to win a game of Tetris 99. No, I don't suck.
But I'm gonna have full badges when there's 40 people left, and targeted by everyone else at 10 left, and it's always gonna be a guy hitting TSTs all day winning, not my B2B Tetrises.
