Yeah, FoW for Lawnmower Elf is pretty overkill. Counterspell, Essence Scatter, even bounce would be more appropriate.

The Artifact tournament is actually 1 Million for the 1st place, Jo. The prizepool is much higher (maybe 2 million at least).
