@Teruo Hirai Yeah, the Super Crown is actually *way* more profound then Nintendo realizes. It actually changes *everything* about Peach, as now I seriously don't belive Peach is human. The evidence heavily weighs to her being a Toad.

One actually pointed out that maybe the crown acts like Thor's Hammer. You get it and you become the embodiment of the princess.
He blamed Toadsworth for being a chicken and making the crown to have a decoy for Bowser to go for.
@Chastity Knite: Peachette makes me think that Peach is actually a kind of toad Queen. Possibly she is a toad that matured with the super crown making the effect permanent.
I have had my own idea of how Peach's ancestors came from our world around WW1. They fought with the mushroom kingdom and won over the toads while pushing the koopas out. Bowser is just trying to take back his peoples ancient homeland.
Then those annoying Plumber's came along.
@Joshua Ashby: I have a feeling that it is a ruse. Peach is clearly capable of defending herself, as seen in some of the games. They are probably playing Mario for suckers.
It's really just an excuse to fight a monster, and then Bowser eventually gained a personality and intelligence, and now he just sorta kidnaps them out of habit in between going out for sports.
