Before, you played Magic, you played YuGiOh, you played every game you liked, and every match you played had a new unique deck to play against, because noone knew the "I win" decks and everyone was using own decks
Honestly The Witcher 3 is the best RPG I've ever played. Definitely get the GOTY edition since it will be overall cheaper than buying all that content separately.
Honestly The Witcher 3 is great. Just go buy it. It was GOTY last year for a reason. 3 games everyone should have from last year is Witcher 3, Metal Gear Solid V and Bloodborne.
At any rate, Witcher 3 is one hell of a game either way, it blends the best characteristics of Western RPGs and Japanese RPGs. It's like the Racedriver GRID of RPGs. Game of the Decade easily, XD.
It's R$100 Jo, you'll get way more than your money's worth.
But have you played the other 2? They're not even close to 3 quality-wise, but the story is EXTREMELY linked between them, in fact there's a lot of quests that reference your actions in the first two games.
