Warframe has taken so much of my life and I regret nothing.

But you can get premium currency somewhat easily by trading rare weapon mods and prime parts with other players.

And by the way, leveling up your weapon does nothing in Warframe. It's the mods that give you extra damage.

You can have a good free experience in Warframe if you forget Prime gear is a thing. Everything that is prime has a handful of somewhat common parts and that single one that is impossible to get.

The only real money item that is truly necessary are the weapon and frame slots.

About Warframe. It's a great game, but it's a big spender. Either you need to spend all your monies or all your time. Grinding near the ridiculous in this game.
I'd very much rather to pay a single-time fee that reduces the prices of stuff and increases drop rate.

Warframe is definitely a decent game to get into, though it is better if you can find a good clan to join. The clans allow you to unlock new things and it helps you to find people to group up with.

P.S. If you do get into Warframe, I'd be willing to play with you and show you the basics. The game is based largely around coop, after all.

I feel like you'll have fun with it at first, but it'll quickly fall off once you realize how much grinding is in the game.

That said, it's F2P. So it doesn't cost anything and despite the grind I'd still say it's worth trying out.
