I don't think now the cculus is part of Facebook they'll turn it on a "3d Thumbs Up Simulator", but I do expect a divided focus with it trying to be something more than a game gadget.

I've seen this before when the Xbox created the Kinect, and I didn't like the result.

Still, isn't like innovation in the genre lies solely in the back of the Oculus. If it drops the ball I'm sure someone else will catch it and move foward.
