this challenge was completed years ago. by me. i.e., when i was two years old i was a hardcore gamer. because i was playing ocarina of time. two years old. and in third grade i became emo. i was a hardcore gaming emo kid. 3rd grade. kthx <(*.^]/

So the son went casual because he ran away from a challenge and was disencouraged by losing? Pathetic. Disown him. He's not 'casual'... He's not a gamer at all.

I remember when my son finally got the "Crownd" achievement in Left 4 Dead during one of our coop games.  I'm not sure who yelled "hell yah!" louder, him or me.  *laughs*

If you mama's boys are going to quote me, at least spell "Maggot" correctly, Maggots!

Y'know, this sunday my father and I actually dedicated the whole day to playing games. Tiny Toons, James Bond, Gunstar Heroes, and Monsters In My Pocket, pretty fun, actually.

I was also quite surprised by that the kid was a boy...

At least his kid isn't playing Peggle. God damn whenever I play Peggle I can't stop for like 5 hours.

I'm surprised everyone seems to have dropped the "coming out of the closet" jokes so soon.

My dad enjoys 2 types of games. Flight sims and RTS's. My early memories of gaming with him were either taking turns playing Wings 2:Aces High on the Snes, or sitting right next to him as he played command and conquer or some other old game. Simcity, too.

The arc is making me sad. :'(

Heavy killed Megaman and stoled his E tank.

My dad and I used to play old Co-op FPS all the time in the early/mid ninties.    He still gets giddy at the idea of getting all his old gamer buddies and his son together for trash talk, dirty talk and general buffonery.

My dad and I always play backgammon. He used to pwn me and that smug look afterwards alays gets on my nerves. Until I started playing with everyone I know.

Then I beat him. 10 times straight.
He never wants to play again
