Pushing the lane means that you kill the enemy creeps to fast and it brings you closer to the enemy's tower, which is very dangerous.

creeps are little soldiers that fight each other.

last-hitting requires you to deal the killing blow to a creep to earn money. Ranged creep deals more damage than melee so they will mess up the player's last-hit.
