People may or may not enjoy hard content but most players will do what is most efficient.

Between the careful approach needed and some possible deaths hard content end up not being visited much.

So I can totally understand when some of the hard content is nerfed. I may not like it but I surely understand when the company want to make some of the less popular content more acessible.
