I've done this on expert many times, I just do this and then rush for the safehouse, I pwned hunters in mid air, i've stopped smokers grabbing me, punted boomers and shot them, melee'd and shot normal infected that are in my way and hey, I took no damage :).

25 minutes last night, mostly because I was pissed and didn't want to wait for the rest of my team. Still play L4D for some reason.

Using "clever" tactics can not save you, especially not in advance or expert mode, if you got separated for a minute a hunter or smoker will get you and it won't be so clever as Ezekiel mentioned also if you do on versus you are dead against a good infected team, so stick together as you should :)

lol there's usually a hunter too so i wonder what happened to him. I don't think the AC path is worth it since you can usually get through the apartment with more hp as long as you've got good people than just jumping down.

The air conditioner is still there in Campaign.  It was removed in Versus mode.

Very few people take it anymore.  The best you can do going down is about 24-33 health (that's if you run off the side of the building and do not jump).  You can usually do better just walking.

There is a reloading glitch, If you reload and then start shoving over and over it will automaticly reload depending on the gun real reload time

How can Bill jump on the AC unit and down and STILL have a medkit?

I don't understand why people would jump on the AC to avoid zombies when the point of the game is to... kill zombies....

I tried that once, jumping onto the AC while the rest of the team went through the apartments.
