Aw that's sweet of the one girl hugging the other, just like American and Japanese sisters do in the films, more in Japanese than American,
I wish I had a sister sometimes, but no. Take care for you and all your Family!

MAC is full of good games.
Just not every big new release. Also boot camp. And god damn check that engie ass on the first panel.

A friend's solution was simply installing Windows on her Mac. I think she pretty much stopped using OS X after that. :P

Try the Saxton Hale servers. They're quite fun. Oh, and if you're going to join one, watch YouTube videos first so you're not complaining in-game.

Considering this entire site's comics were founded on the game TF2, I would hope that you (Joe) would actually enjoy that game. Also, has Engie always been that picky?
P.S. and while on subject is she really "Tsun-Tsun"?

Oh sorry, did you say something? I was too busy staring at the first panel.

@yrgasdg This is why you get a desktop system instead--in order to get a video card that will handle the most recent game, you *will* get charged limbs and vital organs for it. And then there's going to be getting it with Win7, and not 8...

You know what all comics about LAN and such things are missing? Warcraft 3. That is the only game me and my friends have been playing for years.

Luckily today the thing about Mac gaming is not the lack of games (even though the lack of variety and support haven't gone anywhere), but the price tag. And the underpowered/non-upgradeable hardware.

@Bouchert: Ironically, Marathon would give way to that indispensable Microsoft game franchise juggernaut, Halo, which was originally written by Bungie, a primarily Mac game company, for Mac OS 9. Interesting story behind that, but I'm sure you guys have heard it before.

Sadly, you know the majority of the comments here will be about Mac vs PC and not pledging Joe for more lesbians.

Look, people, we could argue all night about mac vs PC...
Or we could watch the lesbians.

BLU Engie-tan is such a sourpuss.
Ever notice how the words "fanboy" and "fangirl" have completly differnt meanings rather than just being the gender counterparts of each other?

I was a hardcore Mac user in the early 90's, and while I was vaguely aware of some game called Doom, it was really irrelevant to me. I felt as if software not available for Mac just didn't exist. But my PC friends reacted the same to titles like Marathon. Everyone lives in their own universe.

I'm watching these comics not only because I like it. I'm waiting for new TF2 Arc, because it was most interesting stuff that Nerf now gave to us. So Jo, can you say when you gonna make something about tf2? :)

@Role: Because the Mac won't be around then, or because there won't be a distinction between the latest Mac OS and the latest Windows version (since they'll be the same)?

All this fevered Mac hatred is kind of amusing. You know it's just another Windows-capable brand of PC at this point, right? The custom Unix-based OS is just additional icing on the cake.
I like my Mac, but I'm also writing this comment on a PC. Play games and stop worrying about the OS.

Mac gamers are like unicorns, their prized possession is a shiny white thing, and they don't exist apart from a dumb few horses that think they are unicorns.

Never really got the whole Mac/PC thing, I assume it's like console wars only with slightly better grammar and neck beards replacing the screaming children.
Also Double Engie all across the screen! :P

Even I have to admit, despite my general hatred for Macs, that Mac gaming has come a long way in the last five years or so. Still, there's a host of other problems that Macs tend to face, but...
Well, let's be honest. Those are probably gonna be moot too in another half decade or so.

Back in like 2001 I went to a 200+ person LAN with my old PowerMac G4. Probably the only one in the building, but I played a lot of Quake and UT, so no problems there.
Also was the only computer there that *couldn't* be infected by the virii that were running rampant on the LAN.

Somewhat defeats the "LAN" part. Its more like party where people play online games (together).

Boot Camp, man! The mac actually has a larger library of games than the windows-only machine because there are a few OS-X exclusive titles (I mean, unless you're making a hackintosh).

There are more Mac users reading your comic than you thought, huh? It's ok I could never stop reading your comics even if you despised Macs with the intensity of a thousand burning stars.
