HOW DARE YOU DISCRACE THE NAME OF GLOBLA AGENDA! they did a pretty dman well job with the pve and the world right now, which kinda sucks, but it aint half bad,, plus its only like team fortress 2 if your doing pvp

It's a great game, but it's got a technical issue - a lot of systems can't get over 30FPS regardless of settings.

As for the MMO elements, you should do fine no matter your level, oddly enough. Someone at level 10 can still kill a level 20, easily - teamwork means MUCH more than individual level.

Recon = Sniper + Spy + Scout
Assault = Heavy + Soldier + Demoman
Robotics = Engineer
Medic = Medic + Pyro

It looks to me like a western version of S4 League, the crews are now agencies and the zip-lines/cyber wings are now jetpacks.

Damn, after reading this comic I went to check out Global Agenda, I found it to be pretty interesting and was wondering if I should give it a shot. Sadly, my dinosaur of a computer won't be able to run it on even the minimum requirements.

Global Agenda > TF2

Cute little comic, and on the surface GA might compare to tf2, but it's like comparing little league T-ball to major league baseball. Skill tree progression, customization that's up there with any mmo, strategic meta game... Still,watching ABP as well.

Squad leader can call UAV to monitor area or attacking it, Platoon leaders and OIC can order bombing with air strike and/or artilerry

How about MAG? they have 128 vs 128 for total 256 player on screen, and when we reach certain level we can apply for squad leader, then platoon leader, then OIC (Officer in Charge).

Each side the Squad leader lead other 8 players, while Platoon leader lead 4 Squad Leader, and OIC

It looks interesting, but I don't have the money to pre-order it in time :(

I had intest in this game when they called it an MMOFPS. Then I heard 60 vs 60 player combat. I felt betrayed, how dare they call such a small number an MMO. Makes me wish Planetside would become popular again.

Now THAT was an MMOFPS. I tell ya, those were the good old days. 133vs133vs133 players

That Heavy is awesome.

I used to be stoked for Global Agenda what with the advertised 60v60 battles, but then I found out that while it may be 60 people vs 60 people, they actually break it down into multiple instanced fights of 8-12v8-12. So really it's just like a normal FPS sized game (smaller than some).

You should take a look at APB then, does combine FPS with MMO :D

I've never played GA, but from what I've seen in the trailers, it looks pretty dam awesome.

Healing medics in Global Agenda are pretty much the same as in TF2, but if you go Combat Medic, you can actually compete with the other classes for kills. The poisons in particular can do some serious damage combined with your other weapons.

Check out the wikipedia page on it...someone keeps pasting the TF2 page into the Global Agenda page with a few names changed. Even the same graphics. I've been reverting it all day.

So, basically, the only resemblances is the classes.

It was only a question of time before a Global Agenda panel would appear on Nerfnow. :D
The game is remarkably similar to TF2, but not in a way that makes it a ripoff in any way, and therefore, it's a very nice game with lots of opportunity. Go NerfNow!

As a huge fan of Global Agenda, and a huge fan of Nerf Now, I was quite surprised to see this comic! Global Agenda is LOTS of fun.

There's this korean made MMO called "ACE online". There's NA publishers and EUR publishers(under another name, but I suggest play the NA one) that is waaaaay different than any other kind of "point n' click" MMO. Just google it and download it. And did I mention it's free to play?

Just gave the 4 classes a quick read through... so it looks like this to me:

Recon = Sniper + Spy + Scout + Sticky Demoman (not sure on this part)
Assault = Heavy + Soldier + Flare-gun Pyro + Grenade Demoman
Robotics = Engineer (with unlockables? :3)
Medic = Medic (lol)

@Teslanaut: I believe it's the latter according to some Youtube videos.

And Heavy = Assault, Engineer = Robitics, Spy = Recon... but the poor Medic is still Medic. lol
