@Mr. X: Continuing on, since I ran out of space. Since when have humans ever needed an excuse to nuke something anyways. They'd just spread around a story about how they were making an organic bioweapon and killing anyone we send to attempt peace, and bam, the entire planet is for nuking them.

@Alex: Well, seeing as they can already make perfect cloned replica versions of the alien natives, I really doubt there'd be much more to study. It'd actually be much more cost effective lives and resources wise to just glass the surface, and then extract anything we needed from the shattered husk.

@Nyerguds I wonder how they would explain that they nuked the sentient alien natives out to extinction when they get back to Earth? And why they used nukes against low-tech aliens.
Ultimately it would be a bad idea since the na'vi at the very least would still be excelent specimens to study.

Nobody understood this strip. It's a flat chested girl who's trying to select her breasts from the breasts tree in the same way as they acquire other things.

@Son of Genocide: They just kinda left out the part where the "defeated" humans then nuke the site from orbit.
I mean seriously. They got the space advantage, against a low-tech people that rely on an organic network. Looking at it tactically, nuking from orbit is the obvious solution.

@Platypus It's more like, Native Americans win and kick out the Europeans due to being holy and having an incarnate tree-symbiote-god, which makes the people descended from the Europeans who did most of the genocide feel more cathartic about it.

Dont't worry, NerfNow is always mentioned in the weekly gaming webcomic review in kotaku, and the readers responds for NerfNow is always positive

@LAMP: Sitting around in your house playing video games generally isn't considered "getting out more often."

The Tentacles are in his moustache. If he had a beard then it would hide his third fist.

those are soup trees and the old one uses his soup drinker on them....if you don't know what i mean look up the newest flash animation by "happy harry" starting with the words "hot na'vi"

Wow, people are really uninformed. I haven't seen Avatar yet, I have played Mass Effect, and I got this comic completely. People need to get out more often, obviously.

Still, the movie makes me want to get 3D glasses and play TF2 with a bit more depth.

@.: Pandora digital content. That tree is rated M for mature Na'vis only.
Should I find it ironic that Na'vi is one apostrophe away from Navi, that annoying fairy that always wants you to "hey, listen." And Avatar isn't FernGully in CG, it's Dances with Wolves in space.

This comic would make more sense if you:
A. Seen Avatar B. Realize that is a guy.

@Everyone who believed that anyone who likes Avatar is an Idiot, Grow up, people have different tastes in movies, personally I didn't like Furn Gully, this movie on the other hand I loved.

@Vahalian: I also am an alpha centauri player but I actually never played it online. If you have played it online, did those games get kinda long (did you ever reach the ascent to trancendence in an online game?)
Also the comic makes more sense if you've seen Avatar
Vahalian

@Discrider
wow another alpha centauri player don't find many of you people around. and don't we all want our own little porn tree
ALELAELEAL

Avatar was a shitty-made over hyped scifi FERN GULLY.
And it sucked. You should feel bad for making this comic.

Was I the only one watching Avatar and waiting for the mindworms to appear and start wailing on the humans?
Actually, that would have made the final ground battle pretty funny.

Ha! This one took a bit of a while for me to get. Nicely done :)

duir maybe you're right, but this comic is still to cryptic and requires to much brain for the average troll on here.
duir

to the people who don't get it:
the na'vi connect to certain plants to access the memory's of images, what the comic here suggest that it's a porn tree(hence the boobies)wich a teenager wants to connect with to get porn or something like that

Aweasome! but, is just my impression or your site has a new add system? Blocking the syte to show the adds is a bit too muck, but i know how it is...

I just assumed it was Mass Effect due to the authors comments. I haven't seen Avatar yet either =p
