@Brong Stad: More units will make the gains of micromanagement less important and harder to get without sacrificing anything on the macro scale. The Starcraft II devs have repeatedly said that they're trying to avoid WC3-levels of micromanagement emphasis.

SC 2 will only get worse on the micro thing. In fact, multiplayer will have two "difficulties" (game speed): mortal and Korean.

Damn comp players and their leet micro. Blizzard's either trying to stop that ridiculous DOTA-level micromanagement or make it even worse by increasing the number of units on the field.
