man kratos reminds me of that one pale enemy from ninja gaiden(nes) that toss a spinning blade that comes back to him. the only one who can launch his projectile off screen and catches you off guard the first time playing it.

Well...knowing Zeus' reputation with the opposite gender, I wouldn't be surprised if those were all his children that were so widely known.

At the start of Altered Beast, Zeus commands a dead warrior to "rise from your grave" to save Athena. (An evil being has captured her and turned her into a bird.) Here Zeus is raising the dead to fight Kratos from God of War, but Kratos is such a badass, at least one soldier doesn't want to go.

God of War doesnt shine a candle to Altered Beast, and time will indeed tell which one has the enduring legacy as a groundbreaking classic.
