Well, Capcom IS keeping its game updated, as soon as that issue went known they rolled back right quick. Though I'll be honest, they do have been on a shit-decision streak. They had every chance to turn a new leaf and purge the hate on Capcom with SFV, but they blew it hard...

Sometimes you can fix it. Sometimes you just need to cleanse it with fire and be done.

Dota 2 is one of the few games I disabled automatic updates on.
I swear it downloads something every other day.
I don't play Dota 2 but I really like watching the International so keeping it up to date isn't that important to me.

To be fair though, it took 2 years for Street Fighter IV to go from 16 characters to 35.
We're not quite there in Street Fighter V, but one can hope that they'll speed up the release of the next batch of characters?

The last delay doesn't make it sound super likely... But we can dream, right?

@anothga: Yeah.. but even when the patch crashed the game, USUALLY they can make a emergency patch.

Still, given the gravity of the situation, pressing the rollback button seen easier and faster than finding the bug and correcting it.

I was sleeping when the patch happened, so I wouldn't know firsthand, but apparently, something in the patch broke the game so hard, the game would constantly crash while launching. At least, that's what some people on Reddit say.
