Worried about gore? Just add more. Imagine Overwatch made in Unreal Turnament style. Wouldnt that been glorious? Hehe bits everywhere, cap points just massive slaughterhouses and heroes wading through they comrades intestines. That is what I call healthy amount of gore. o_o :D xD
@Maestro Silvio: i guess it would be somewhat gory if, in the middle panel, it actually showed the character having its brains popped out, without shadowing it... but the way it is showed here is pretty mild, IMO.
Re. trying to make it not gory: I'm don't have a weak stomach for gore, but I do think Lucio looks kind of creepy in that last panel. I think it's mostly the grin; having a dead person's blood all over his face is making him WAY too happy.
Apparently, Lucio was Canadian during development, hence the hockey and deadmau5-inspired skins.

Just like during set-up on attack at Hanamura when I picked Lucio.
The entire team starts vandalizing the Arcade and he cheerfully exclaims "Look at this team, we're gunna do great!" Even Louis in L4D knew when things were just plain wrong ._.
...I don't play Overwatch, is that Morgan? Did she get a job as one of the game's characters? You need to make a comic of all your girls meeting up in game, go team exTF2 vs Overwatch!
That's a thing I haven't been able to unsee myself. None of the characters make a lot of sense. Once you've played the game and gotten rid of that initial feel for their design, their designs just don't fit into the universe or the game in any way.
I was looking through all the character bio/history things the other day, and I guess Lucio's backstory was that he lived in a slum in rio, made music to try & beat back the gloom of things, then went full on rebel icon after stealing his sound-gun thing & kinda starting a revolution.
