It gives one a warm feeling inside that Morgan and Jane can put aside their differences to make Anne-marie suffer.

I was interested in the AH, it would have been interesting to see a game where your character and inventory are considered valuable. Unfortunately, it was poorly done in D3. An economy where top tier stuff is valuable and everything else is trash is not stable or healthy.

Also, if the RMAH actually generated enough income to Blizzard they would never close it, which is another indication that no one used the RMAH since they could buy items elsewhere already.

People that believed in this crap that the RMAH would prevent third party stores are morons. Why would people that are used to buy items pay extra money to Blizzard if they know of a legit store that actually deliver the items and not from buyd3itemshereandgetscammed.com?

& then Jane & Morgan were found with Knives in their backs.

You know, I'm not really cool with the AH going away, especially in Hardcore land. I don't know how much has changed since I left about a year ago, but I remember my barbarian not being able to function without very specific stats on his weapons. And getting them to drop was next to impossible.

Hey Jo,sometime ago you said you would be interested in a WH40kMMORPG,have you seen the upcoming Eternal Crusade?

Well you can't even buy off 3rd party sites now because trading got nerfed. Legendaries can only be traded to people who were in the game with you when it dropped for like a day or two.

AH removal: Because if you don't have good gear, why should anyone else?

I bet next patch they'll remove loot too.

AH and any microtransactions are a games' cancer. There, i've said it. Games are meant to be PLAYED not PAYED.
and if your Loottable is particular bad you turn your players into goldfarmers to buy what they want instead of playing the game. ^^

an AH isn't bad, but it was there to fight the symptom, not the disease.
"Bad/Useless Loot" gives you valuable stuff that you don't have a use for.
an AH is an option to exchange it for valuable stuff that you DO want.

Giving the people what they want in the first place renders the AH obsolete

Another reason I am looking forward to Wildstar: Farmable nodes have a chance of running away or even spawning a monster, so farm bots would probably have a lot more to handle than just farming, which the thought of seeing said bot being devoured by a massive worm delights me to no end.

@Guaire Amalasan: Blizzard is infamous for taking ages to acknowledge a problem... then grossly overreacting.

@Guaire Amalasan: They want to prevent the black market of 3rd party trading sites at all costs.

I feel Blizzard went from one extreme to another, from real money AH to not even being able to trade legendaries to your friends. Its like they are blundering along without a clue

I am on the fence where the AH didn't bother me and i am indifferent with its removal. I had fun with D3 and i can't wait for the expac to come out.

Like the classic motto "winners don't use drugs", had evolved into "winners don't use pay-to-win/AH"

D3 is alive, and the RMAH is dead.
Eh. Good enough.

I enjoy how Spy is characterized in this light. Good stuff...........And doesn't this count as a successful experiment? It always confused me. They wanted to know if Auction houses could work and we now have a strong data point saying that it doesn't.

@bg The problem seems intermittent and unpredictable (or at least hard to describe). I don't see any fishy extensions, and haven't added one in years. Maybe it's just FF3.6 in its death throes. In recent months, all manner of websites are starting to have funny behaviors or dying altogether.

First!

Also, has there been a change to the site's back end in the last few weeks?
I've recently found it very difficult to access this text box, or even to highlight text, as if there's an invisible img blocking things?
